Super Bowl Bites & Sips

Super Bowl LX is officially one for the history books — but honestly, the halftime show with Bad Bunny? Wow. Absolutely speechless in the best way.

Now that we’ve danced, sung, cheered, and celebrated… let’s talk about the real MVP of the night: the food! 🏈

Let’s start with the ceviche… YUM!!!

I grew up eating it made with tuna — just the way my mom always prepared it. It’s a recipe that’s close to my heart, full of memories, and honestly… so incredibly delicious.

  • Albacora tuna (firmer, meatier texture, mild, and clean flavor)

  • Tomatoes

  • White onion (must be white)

  • Celery

  • Cilantro

  • Limes

  • Cucumbers

  • Serrano pepper (or fresh jalapeños)

  • Green olives

  • Clamato

  • Ketchup

  • Maggie seasoning

  • Salt to taste

  • Avocado for garnish

Chop all the veggies and mix them with Clamato, ketchup, fresh lime juice, and a splash of Maggi seasoning. Gently fold in the drained tuna at the end so it keeps its texture. Refrigerate for at least one hour to let all the flavors come together.

Serve over crispy tostadas or with your favorite chips, and garnish with avocado slices, cilantro, serrano peppers (if you like a little extra heat), and an extra squeeze of lime. So delicious!!!

Now let’s talk about the viral dill dip… oh my gosh — it is so ridiculously delicious!

Here are the ingredients, and honestly, it couldn’t be easier.

  • GRILLO’S pickles hot spears (they are not that hot)

  • Whipped Cream Cheese

  • Plain Greek Yogurt

  • Sour cream

  • Shredded Cheddar

  • Ranch seasoning dressing

  • Crumbled bacon

  • Chives

Chop the dill pickles (no juice at first — but save a little to add a splash at the end), then combine everything else to taste. I used more whipped cream cheese along with some Greek yogurt and a bit of sour cream, which gave it a creamier, milder flavor. I also had a cheese blend in the fridge and didn’t want anything to go to waste, so I added it in — and it turned out perfect! You can use your favorite shredded cheese, but a cheddar-style works best. And trust me… the Ranch seasoning, crumbled bacon, and chives are essential.

Mix everything together and chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving. I’m telling you — once you dip that first chip in, you won’t want to stop. TRY IT!

And last — but definitely not least — a delicious cocktail to bring it all together!

  • Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Cream

  • Dr. Pepper or Coke

  • Coconut Flavored White Rum

  • Lime Juice

  • Ice

  • Sliced limes for garnish

Congratulations to the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks!!! 🏈

A table full of delicious food and snacks — but more than anything, filled with fun, love, and family time. And to me, that’s what matters most. Family time is the best time!
