How To Stay Motivated When Life Feels Upsidedown ✨
When Life Feels Upside Down: How I’m Staying Motivated. ❤️
Lately, life has been… a bit of everything. From health scares, to the busyness of every day living, a broken AC, and getting ready for out of town visitors staying at our house for a couple of weeks, and the list could go on.
Some days feel like a blur of tasks, emotions, and unexpected curveballs. And honestly? Motivation doesn’t always come easy, it’s usually work and progress, and a lot of determination.
But I’ve learned to stop chasing perfect days and start focusing on small wins. Here are a few simple things that have helped me keep going—even when everything feels a little upside down:
Starting the day with intention – Whether it’s a quick prayer, a deep breath, a short walk around the block, or writing one thing I’m grateful for, I’ve found that how I begin my day matters.
Taking breaks without guilt – Rest isn’t lazy. Sometimes stepping back helps me return stronger.
Keeping one promise to myself each day – Even if it’s just drinking enough water or going for a short walk, eating healthy and nourishing foods, following through builds trust in myself.
Letting go of what I can’t control – Easier said than done, but it’s been freeing to focus only on what’s mine to carry.
Finding beauty in the little things – A good cup of coffee, a kind message, or a moment of quiet—it all counts.
Motivation isn’t about being constantly driven. It’s about showing up, even in the mess, and remembering I don’t have to have it all figured out to make progress.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed too, just know: you’re not alone, and you’re doing better than you think. Be gentle on yourself. 💛
