COFFEE IN BED THOUGHTS
Happy Saturday! ❤️
Although my body is used to waking up early in the morning for work, and life in general for years, I fully enjoy staying in bed a little longer on Saturdays to sip my coffee, and when it’s a special delivery, even better. 🥰
I was talking to friends last night about the importance of staying grounded, real, and vulnerable in an always changing world. In a world that is unpredictable, and unfair to many. Being grounded, real, and vulnerable has nothing to do with being pessimistic, instead is the complete opposite because by feeling, and noticing the world, and those around us -maybe, just maybe- and by trying to understand a little of other people’s pain and struggles (although we could never, ever do that completely), we can allow each other to be human - perfectly, imperfect humans.
In a world that can feel heavy and uncertain, kindness is the most powerful way we can show up for one another. It doesn’t have to be grand or complicated—sometimes it’s as simple as listening without judgment, offering a smile, or reminding someone they’re not alone.
When we struggle, we don’t always need solutions; what we need is presence. We need to know that love still exists in the world, that compassion hasn’t run dry, and that we matter. Every small act of kindness becomes proof that goodness is still alive.
May we be bearers of hope by the way we show up for others, and by doing so, remind each other that love is not just something we can seek, but also something we can give. ✨
